XsunX Inc. (OTC: XSNX) shares are soaring in today�s trading after the company entered into an agreement with Telecomps Technology for the use of its CIGSolar technology. At last check, the penny stock was up 26.02% from its previous close at $0.0930. XsunX shares stock touched the high of $0.10 and lowest price in today�s session is $0.08.
Under the agreement, Telecomps and the company will work together to complete back-end CIGSolar solar module assembly capabilities to produce solar modules using XsunX CIGSolar cells.
Joseph Grimes, XsunX’s president and COO mentioned, “This is a great opportunity for both companies. Telecomps’ growing capabilities in the module assembly business will provide us a head start and will help accelerate the adoption of our CIGSolar technology in the rapidly growing Chinese market.”
Also, the company entered in a Joint Business Agreement with Intevac to collaborate in the development of techniques and equipment for the production of commercially marketable processes and equipment for the manufacture of CIGS (copper indium gallium selenide) thin-film solar cells. Through the combination of cross-industry specialties, XsunX and Intevac plan to develop a new breed of TFPV manufacturing techniques to produce thin-film solar cells. Both companies plan to effectively combine Intevac’s unparalleled expertise and years of technological improvements developed for the sophisticated HDD manufacturing industry with XsunX’s experience in the TFPV industry, which includes senior staff with years of commercially successful CIGS related technology development.
XsunX focuses on developing and has begun to market a hybrid manufacturing solution to produce high-performance copper indium gallium (di) selenide (CIGS) thin film solar cells.
