The Dow Jones Industrial Average snapped a 10-day winning streak Friday, losing 25.03 points to close down 0.17% to 14,514.11. The day’s loss also broke an eight-day streak of closing record highs. Nevertheless, the index rose 117.04 points, or 0.81% this week.
The Standard & Poor’s 500 index fell 0.16% Friday, but was up 0.61% for the week, closing at 1,560.70 — just 4.45 points off its record closing high. Meanwhile, the Russell 2000 index lost 0.06% Friday but ended the week up 1.06% to 952.48.
