Websense Slips On Q1 Miss

Websense (WBSN) shares are trading lower on a modest Q1 earnings miss.

For Q1, the security software company reported revenue of $79.8 million and non-GAAP profits of 26 cents a share, short of the Street at $82.6 million and 27 cents.

For Q2, the company sees revenue of $82 million to $84 million and profits of 26-28 cents a share; the Street has been expecting $84.3 million and 29 cents.

Websense sees full year revenue of $334 million to $342 million, with profits of $1.16 to $1.23 a share.

WBSN is down $1.49, or 6.2%, to $22.50.
