Home Depot (HD) reported better-than-expected quarterly results helped by improved efficiency (see transcript here upon availability). The top home-improvement chain is also guiding higher to a fiscal-year profit above Wall Street estimates. Shares of the Dow component closed yesterday at $30.32 but are up about $0.50 this morning on our Heat Seeker tracking program.

RadioShack Trades Lower

Radio Shack (RSH) posted profits that exceeded analysts' estimates, but only by a penny, while revenue was in line with expectations (see transcript here). RSH is down nearly 4 percent from yesterday's close to $19.84 on our Depth Charge system.

Brocade Comes Up Short

The networking systems provider, Brocade (BRCD) posted a shortfall in revenue (see transcript here). So even though bottom-line EPS was $0.04 better than estimates, the stock is getting hammered by more than 14 percent. Brocade is down more than $1 to $5.71 from its close of $6.96.
